KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will mount three additional flights per week from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam between Oct 29 2012 and March 30 2013, as part of its new winter schedule.
This
will bring the airline's total weekly flights to 17, of which seven
are codeshare flights on aircraft operated by Malaysia Airlines.
KLM
is offering a promotional fare for its new flights for bookings made
from July 2 to 31.
"The
extra flights provide extra capacity for KLM, especially as the KL
International Airport in Sepang is a good hub for passengers
travelling from Europe to Australia and New Zealand, and the new
daytime flights complement our existing night flights to offer
passengers more options and flexible timing," said KLM country
manager Estee Ng in a statement today.
Passengers
travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam on the three new daytime
flights will be able to save a day by arriving in Amsterdam on the
same day. "Meanwhile, travellers from Amsterdam will arrive in
Kuala Lumpur early in the morning to enjoy a full day, be it for work
or leisure," Ng added.
