Aeroflot is among thirty world's largest airlines measured by available seat kilometers for a week, according to Innovata, a global leader in travel related content management.
In
2012 Aeroflot demonstrated almost 20 % growth in its
transport capacity compared to 2011 and moved from the 29-th place to
the 27-th, with ASK per week indicator more than 1,2 billion (seats
available multiplied by a distance flown).
Being
the only Russian representative in Innovata’s Top 30, the largest
national air carrier plans to significantly expand and modernize its
fleet by taking delivery of Boeing 777 and 737 alongside with Airbus
320 and 321 aircraft in 2013.
