Hospitality Net expands mobile presence with launch of Photo App for App Store

MAASTRICHT, THE NETHERLANDS and AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA - In conjunction with a recent website overhaul, Hospitality Net announced the launch of HN Photos – the first photo sharing app in the hospitality B2B space. The iPhone app enables hotel industry professionals to publish and share newsworthy photos on Hospitality Net.

Overview of available features:
  • Upload newsworthy photos to Hospitality Net
  • Browse recent uploads by other users of the app
  • Check out news items linked to featured photos
  • Link photos to ongoing industry events/conferences
  • Share your uploads on Facebook and Twitter

Development of the HN Photo app was made possible with the active support of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), organizers of the annual Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) show. HN Photo will be made available to all visitors at this year's edition of HITEC, June 24 - 27, Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, Minn.
"The launch of HN Photos marks another milestone in Hospitality Net's tradition of introducing industry firsts within the B2B hospitality online publishing space," said Henri Roelings, CEO and founder of Netherlands-based Hsyndicate.org.
In April 2013, Hospitality Net made its mobile debut, rolling out its mobile news channel available at m.hospitalitynet.org. Since introduction, this mobile channel now represents more than 15 percent of overall web site traffic.
"HFTP is honored to help Hsyndicate make history by sponsoring our industry's first hospitality news specific photo app," said Frank Wolfe, CEO of HFTP. "HFTP's mission is to help promote the use of technology throughout the hospitality industry primarily through our conferences, such as HITEC. However, we also like to assist in sponsoring neat initiatives that makes sense for us."
