Ει βούλει καλώς ακούειν, μάθε καλώς λέγειν, μαθών δε καλώς λέγειν, πειρώ καλώς πράττειν, και ούτω καρπώση το καλώς ακούειν. (Επίκτητος)

ILTM Spa Reveals Increased Range of Participants

ILTM Spa has revealed an updated list of well-being clinics and centres, destination spas and hotel spas and resorts taking part at the event at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, London from 30th September – 2nd October 2013.

Confirmed names now include Orient Express’ Hotel du Palais in France,
Kamalaya in Koh Samui, Four Seasons Maldives, as well as LUX* Resorts’ ME SPA, Oetker Collection, Swiss spa resort and medical health centre Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Schloss Elmau in Germany and The BodyHoliday - an all-inclusive luxury resort and wellness centre in St Lucia. They will join the already confirmed Chiva Som, Italy’s Vendura Golf and Spa Resort and Switzerland’s The Alpina Gstaad, among other leading brands from across the world.

Wellness travel is one of the fastest growing areas of international and domestic tourism and the increased demand has encouraged this diverse range of international exhibitors to join ILTM Spa – an event which will provide spa specialists and suppliers with the opportunity to build global business in a series of scheduled, one-to-one business appointments pre-selected by both parties.

Alison Gilmore, ILTM Exhibition Director commented, “The spa experience is becoming a necessity for both male and female luxury travellers. Spas are increasingly driving factors in a destination choice and there are many opportunities for the luxury hotel industry and the spa and wellness sectors to work together to maximise inbound luxury tourism opportunities.”

To highlight the breadth and potential of this fast developing global market, the ILTM Spa Opening Forum will address Eastern medicine, Western psychology, destination spas and commercial spa excellence, as well as global trends affecting the world of luxury and the many new opportunities opening up worldwide.
