Allegiant, known for its affordable travel deals, today celebrates the start of new nonstop, seasonal jet service from Columbus to the popular summer vacation destination, Myrtle Beach. In celebration of the new low-cost service, the company will offer promotional one-way fares as low as $69*.
“We are pleased to add the highly requested Myrtle Beach route to our operations at Rickenbacker,” said Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President and COO. “Columbus residents have been outspoken about their desire for nonstop, affordable service to Myrtle Beach, and we are thrilled to provide them with a one-stop shop for all their vacation needs.”
The new flights will operate three times a week until Sept. 7, 2014, flying nonstop from Rickenbacker Charter Terminal (LCK) to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR). Myrtle Beach becomes the fourth destination available to Allegiant travelers flying out of Rickenbacker. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found at Allegiant website.

Allegiant first began service at Rickenbacker Charter Terminal in October 2012 with nonstop service to Orlando. In the last year and a half, Allegiant has added nonstop service to both Tampa Bay and Punta Gorda and has carried more than 15,000 passengers between Columbus and the company’s sunny destinations. Columbus becomes one of eight Allegiant cities with nonstop service to Myrtle Beach this summer.
