Destination Hotels to be more consumer-facing in 2015
Hotel operator Destinations Hotels & Resorts has lined up a number of initiatives, including a revamp of its website and its Destination Delivers loyalty program, next year in a bid to get consumers to spend more time and money at its properties, President and Chief Operating Officer Jamie Sabatier said. "Guests love our properties but don't know who we are. We want to do a better job of connecting the dots for customers," he said. Caribbean resort development attracts $329M in private equity investments 
Major private equity firms such as Equity International and Bain Capital Partners are stepping in to finance Caribbean resorts as traditional banks pull back lending.
