Air France has always been dedicated to the well-being of families travelling on its flights and does all it can to provide a fun experience for kids while guaranteeing a stress-free trip for their parents.
With a million and a half young globetrotters travelling on its flights every year, including close to 250,000 travelling alone - but very well accompanied, Air France is constantly innovating with just one aim: to make travelling fun!

The Pre-flight Advent Calendar: an invitation for the entire family to travel!

While they can't wait for the summer holidays to start, the company has come up with a Pre-Flight Advent Calendar, a brand new creative experience for parents and kids to prepare their next trip together and discover all the services Air France offers for Kids.
Presented in the form of a small suitcase, the calendar will consist of 7 boxes each representing a destination and corresponding to the 7 days preceding their trip. Inside each box will be a card illustrating some of the many Air France services dedicated to children, such as priority boarding, special kids' menus, games kit, the online kiosk AF PRESS and even a tag for their favourite teddy, as well as a piece of a small wooden plane they can put together.
In this way, the first families to travel on long-haul flights departing from France this summer will all be sent a Pre-Flight Advent Calendar*. Also available in a digital version for the whole family, this will be accessible as from June 1st. This version will offer children a series of 7 cartoons. Parents will find daily tips to help their budding globetrotters prepare their journey, as well as content explaining all the various Kids services.

On board, it's even more fun than at home!

• A magician on board
As from July 1st 2017, children will be able to learn how to perform magic tricks on Air France long-haul flights. An Air France steward, who is also a magician, has created tutorials as part of the inflight entertainment program. All the tricks are done with things the kids can find in their games kit given to all the children on the flight. They will be able to impress their parents without leaving their seat ... Magic!
• A meditation program specially designed for air travel
"Mind" is a new meditation program designed to help children and parents relax and introduce them to the benefits of concentration and serenity on board Air France long-haul flights. This summer, six different contents for children are offered as part of the inflight entertainment offer. Some guided sessions are previously unpublished and others are from Eline Snel's best-selling book "Sitting still like a frog".
• New games kits on long-haul flights
• All their favourite magazines on AF PRESS
Air France's digital kiosk allows you to download your kids' favourite magazines as from 30 hours before your flight on tablets or smartphones. This summer, it is enhanced with a selection of magazines especially dedicated to young travellers.
• And what about infants?
A new kit is available to families with babies travelling on long-haul flights in the La Première, Business and Premium Economy cabins. It contains a bib, a comforter, a spoon, a diaper, as well as wipes and a Nivea Baby moisturizing lotion.
