Ει βούλει καλώς ακούειν, μάθε καλώς λέγειν, μαθών δε καλώς λέγειν, πειρώ καλώς πράττειν, και ούτω καρπώση το καλώς ακούειν. (Επίκτητος)

The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) is delighted to announce RAF-AVIA and Tus Airways as its two new airline members. This brings the total number of ERA member airlines to 53 and the total number of all members to 201.
RAF-AVIA is a passenger and cargo airline established in 1990. The airline is based in Riga, Latvia, and operates regular and ad hoc charter flights in the region and all over Europe. Valeriy Bolotnov, Chairman of the Board at RAF-AVIA, comments: “A/S “RAF-AVIA” is absolutely sure that its voice can be heard only when you are together with other similar regional airlines, which are considered only as partners.

We are sure that ERA as a representative of the majority of European airlines has a much stronger position as an organisation in promoting airlines’ interests among aviation authorities of the European Union than any airline individually,” Bolotnov continues.
RAF-AVIA is the second airline to join ERA recently, with Tus Airways joining the association in October. The Cyprus-based airline operates scheduled flights between Cyprus and neighbouring countries in the eastern Mediterranean with a high-frequency schedule.
Montserrat Barriga, ERA Director General, says: “I’m delighted to welcome our two new airline members. ERA is at the forefront of strategic discussions on the future of the aviation industry with Europe’s regulators and, on behalf of our members, we deliver consistent and effective representation. I’m very much looking forward to working with RAF-AVIA and Tus Airways on the many issues and challenges that affect European aviation.”
ERA is the only European trade body to include the full range of companies involved in European aviation including airlines, airports, manufacturers and suppliers, and provides its members unparalleled networking opportunities through its events and industry groups throughout the year
